Oasis Poker is a variant of the popular card game Caribbean Stud Poker. Unlike standard poker games, Oasis Poker is played against the Dealer instead of against other players.

Oasis Poker is played in the following steps:

1) Player pays ante and cards are dealt.

2) Player has the option to pay ante amount and switch one card with a new one from the deck.

3) Player can place a bet equal to twice the ante amount or fold.

4a) If Dealers Hand is Ace / King or better, then Dealers hand qualifies. Both hands are compared and if Player wins, a Bet Payout is made based on the value of Players hands. See "Payouts" table for more details.

4b) If Dealers Hand is weaker than Ace / King, then Dealers hand fails to qualify. Player has option to pay ante amount to have Dealer switch his highest value card for a new one from the deck. If Player doesnt want to do this, they receive an immediate payout equal to the ante amount.

Since Bet Payouts are only made when Dealers hand qualifies, the Player might want to buy the Dealer a new card if the Players hand is high enough (Part of the strategy of Oasis Poker is figuring out when its worth doing).

More information about rules, payouts, and card rankings are available in-game.

Pros and cons of Oasis Poker app for iPhone and iPad

Oasis Poker app good for

Good game but you dont get enuf chips and it is hard to win any when the dealar cannot qualify for the round without a pair
This is a well thought out user friendly game. Well done ;) and thank you for sharing it with us!
At first I was confused and didnt know how to play but after I figured it out i found out tht its a cool game
After the first game, it was easy to understand. Good game to play on the train. Keep up the good work.
If you have ever been to Vegas and played Caribian stud you will love this game. It plays the same. If you havent played before it will take some getting used to. Just remember if you have a bet on bonus, the dealer HAS to have an ace AND a king or better for your bet to pay off. Otherwise you only receive the ante at even pay. This game would be alot better if it started with $500 instead of $100. Good job on graphics and sound.
Its so simple game and I like this game. :) But somtimes, it drives me crazy, I always lose my money.. :(

Some bad moments

Game is stupid. Odds way in favor of the house. $100 is not enough to start with. By Jim A and Kathryn C
It keeps saying dealer failed to qualify even if I have winning hand.
The dealer hand doesnt qualify with ace/king so it needs to be fixed to work.
This games odds are stupid. If the dealer doesnt qualify then u cant win even if you have a straight flush like I did. Get a different card game that u can win a couple times.
Cant winn, odds n favor of the house. If u get a good hand , guess what ? The dealer doesnt qualify . How frustrating .
What I want from a game of poker is realism. This game has none, sorry...
